Support Package

Karuna provides a realistic support package to residents of the UK and Ireland. This is designed to cover your basic living expenditure. We also offer a similar support package to overseas volunteers.


Up to £250 per week to cover rent and bills incurred whilst on the appeal.

Appeal ethos

Karuna is a Triratna charity and Team Based Right Livelihood. Our door to door appeals are run like retreats and it is important that everyone participating has a:

  3. Sympathy to Buddhism as practiced within the Triratna community
  4. Sympathy with the Aims, Objectives and Ethos of the Karuna Trust
